Paw Paw Post troopers arrested a man and woman who fled an earlier traffic stop in Van Buren County.
At 3:05 a.m., troopers were dispatched to a home for reports of two unknown suspects knocking on the door. The suspects fled when troopers arrived.
A canine team was called and both suspects were arrested after a lengthy track.
The man was a parole absconder and had pending fleeing and eluding charges. He was lodged on the warrants and will face additional charges.
The woman was wanted for felony possession of methamphetamine in a neighboring county. She was lodged in jail and will also face additional charges.
Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted with apprehension and transport of the suspects.
