Man arrested after armed robbery in Wyandotte – Dec. 8, 2010

The Second District Hometown Security Team (HST) arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery at a bank in Wyandotte.

The Wyandotte Police Department broadcasted a lookout notice for the suspect and his vehicle after the robbery. Second District Regional Dispatch pushed the information to troopers, and the Second District HST spotted the suspect on Interstate 75 in Monroe County.

A felony traffic stop was conducted in the city of Monroe and the suspect was arrested without incident. A semi-automatic handgun and money were recovered.

Troopers were assisted by the Wyandotte Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Monroe Police Department.
